about

The self-titled debut album from The Rotary Fifth explores transient beauty and melancholy in the
modern world. The music feels nostalgic with nods to early psychedelia and jazz through a
contemporary and experimental pop filter. Musically accomplished and technically coherent, they play
with the format, creating patterns and textures which are tonally and melodically sophisticated yet
accessible and warm.

With this album, it's obvious The Rotary Fifth has a respect for, and a desire to bring back the art of
an album: offering both an experience and a journey. The sequence and choice of track order speak
to a considered and well-formulated narrative that wants to be understood and appreciated by its
audience.
